B-2 Stealth Bomber crashes on Guam

The first ever crash of the Stealth Bomber occurred on Guam this past weekend.  The bomber crashed shortly after takeoff on Andersen Air Force Base on the north end of the island.  The bomber was introduced in 1988 and costs over $1B.  The pilots survived and the investigation into the crash are underway.  Occasionally, we will see the bomber fly over our soccer practices which is quite an incredible sight.  It has a range of 6000 nautical miles and can carry conventional and nuclear munitions.

I was thinking of you, as I’m sure many others were, after hearing the news of this crash. Thank goodness no one was harmed and it didn’t have a munitions explosion. I can imagine how odd it would be to see one fly overhead. I happened to be on a small highway in NH once when Air Force One was approaching Pease Air Force Base. That was quite a site; and all I could think about is how easy it would’ve been for someone with a rocket launcher to take aim from the vast estuary and wetlands surrounding the area. That likely wouldn’t have been my thought before 9/11. So sad.

On a lighter note, I made the flower & buddha photo on your site my desktop background a few weeks back. It is lovely and so calming. Thanks for sharing it!

    best wishes,
    kim

The Stealth Bomber is my favorite. The only time I normally see it is when they are doing a practice for the air show. Today, keep in mind I live in Omaha Ne, I was out on my back deck and It was gods blessing for me, one flew over my house. It was about 2:30 p.m. this afternoon. This is normally not heard of this time of the year. I would love to see the inside of one of these. This is only a dream, I hope I can fulfill this before my time is up.

what if you added a title that makeds people want more?
I mean B-2 Stealth Bomber crashes on Guam | The Guam Adventure is
a little vanilla. You might peek at Yahoo’s front page andd note
how they create news titles to grab viewers to click.
You mighbt add a video or a related pic or two to get readers excited about what you’ve written. Justt my opinion, it ight bbring your posts a little bit more interesting.
